The original intention of Perfect Cut is to use a combination of modules to precisely and effortlessly control the cutting angle so that everyone can achieve difficult works in the simplest way, even with more fun.

So we made a short clip of building this elegant lamp and invite you to build your own.

⭐18°, 37°, 45°  are the magic cutting angels for the star.

Preparation

  • Cutting Template (A4) x 5  (check the link above)
  • Instructional Graphics x 1  (check the link above)
  • The Perfect Cut set x 1
  • Scissor x 1
  • Magic tape x 1
  • Cutting Material: Corrugated board (A4*) x 5 (or your preference)

* A4 is similar to letter size

DIY Steps (refer to the instructional graphic)

  1. Adjust the Vari-Angle Module with: 18°, 37°, 45°, then align the cutting depth with your cutting material's thickness.
  2. Attach the cutting template onto the material.
  3. Align the arrows of Perfect Cut ruler and the ones on the triangles.
  4. Cut the triangles off the material sheets.
  5. Attach the triangles together as shown. 37° to 37°, while 18°s stays on the same side. So now you get 10 diamonds
  6. Attach the 5 diamonds together as shown. So now you get 2 half stars.
  7. Attach the 2  half stars together as shown, with the light installed.
  8. Well done, now light the star up and wait for Santa... 🎄
